Implement action plans for maintaining, optimizing reliability, securing and making equipment available

Main activities

  • Implementing a preventive, curative and ameliorative maintenance policy for equipment, utilities, infrastructure, etc. and rolling out related action, technical, human and organizational plans
  • Managing the maintenance technician team (training, exchanges, defining individual and collective objectives, appraisal, etc.)
  • Ensuring that quality, safety and environmental procedures are in place and are applied for all facilities
  • Scheduling and monitoring in-house and service provider maintenance operations (drafting and monitoring agreements, choosing suppliers, etc.)
  • Managing the implementation of technical projects for improving equipment and locations and helping choose optimal technical solutions
  • Preparing and managing the budget as well as the department dashboards


  • General engineering or mechanical training
  • Significant experience in managing a team in an industrial environment
  • Multidisciplinary technical knowledge (mechanics, electricity, pneumatics, hydraulics, automatism, etc.)
  • Knowledge of health, safety and quality rules and regulations in effect in the cosmetics, pharmaceutical and agri-food industries
  • Knowledge of continual improvement tools (Kaizen, SMED, 5S, TPM, etc.) and tools for measuring the performance of production sites (TRS, etc.)
  • Ability to manage a team, helping others develop, responsiveness, anticipation, customer service acumen, ability to summarize, precision
