I work in the production centre in Pau, which specializes in manufacturing injectable pharmaceuticals in a sterile environment, where I monitor the whole production process. I carry out manufacturing operations in compliance with operating instructions: my job ranges from starting up and stopping machines through to drafting production documents.
In a controlled, secure environment, I also carry out level 1 maintenance operations and I can be called upon to make adjustments to production machines.
My job requires rigor, autonomy and sharp business acumen to ensure manufacturing quality, which is paramount for patients.
As a result of my experience, I take part in skills transfer by training new members of staff. It’s really rewarding!
I hold a National Vocational Qualification in industrial automation and mechanics, which naturally led me towards a career in maintenance.
