Our commitment to botanical excellence recognized once again
April 11, 2016
In order to assess its performance and demonstrate its commitment to lasting excellence, Botanical Expertise Pierre Fabre (BEPF) decided to employ the EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) assessment model, certified by AFNOR. The EFQM label is a model that has established itself as a reference indicator in Europe. It is currently used by over 30,000 organizations with the aim of sustainably improving their performance.
A voluntary process initiated in 2010 and renewed in 2016
Initiated in 2010, certification of the BEPF approach was renewed in January 2016, allowing improvement projects to be identified, prioritized and implemented. These projects are then approved by an external assessor assigned by AFNOR. In BEPF’s case, the assessor spent the day at the Pierre Fabre Botanical Conservatory. The assessment highlighted the following points:

A focus group in complete agreement on the quality of the BEPF approach
The aim of the focus group formed for the assessment was to be representative of our activity. It was made up of employees and representatives from plant-based active ingredient research, the Open-Innovation Nature Open Library program, members of the Communications Department, and the Naturactive and A-DERMA brands.
The focus group stressed everyone’s involvement in the approach to meet the requirements of the brands and guarantee transparency of information.
A recognized commitment to excellence
The Committed to Excellence certificate will be officially awarded at the French Senate on March 31, 2016.
