Silver Trio at the 28th Health Communication Festival: Three Pierre Fabre Projects Awarded

The purpose of the Health Communication Festival, created 27 years ago, is to highlight health care communication from institutions, organizations and companies for all health care professionals, patients and the general public.

On Thursday, January 25, 2018, the Pierre Fabre group was awarded silver for three original initiatives recognized by the Jury of the Health Communication Festival:

Lola’s Eczema by the Foundation for Atopic Dermatitis  

The Foundation for Atopic Dermatitis received the silver award in the “medical communication” category for its web series “l’eczéma de Lola” [Lola’s Eczema]. Set in motion by the Lyon Sud Pierre Bénite University Hospital school of atopy, the five episodes are aimed at teenagers suffering from atopic dermatitis. Lola, the star, shares her journey and her experience with the condition. 

What the jury liked: 

The upbeat tone and Lola’s refreshing nature tipped the scale! Furthermore, the jury was receptive to the promotion of treatment adherence and the recognition of support by health care professionals.

An e-health app for coping better with eczema: Dermocontrol by DUCRAY

DUCRAY Dermatological Laboratories  received the silver award in the “general public service and product communication” category with Dermocontrol by DUCRAY, a mobile app for coping better with eczema. This unique patient support service, which is a real traveling “Logbook,” focuses on people affected by eczema.

What the jury liked: 

An app designed by and for patients suffering from varying degrees of eczema. A useful innovation to improve daily life for sufferers and to address their needs, true to the brand’s values and mission.

An internal challenge to spark ENT innovation: the ENT Challenge

Pierre Fabre Health Care received the silver award in the corporate communication category for setting up an online challenge based on brainstorming by Pierre Fabre employees and consumers from all over the world who are attuned to the subject of ENT.

What the jury liked: 

The Jury emphasized the collaborative and international aspect of this online conceptualization platform.
