Business Development Manager – Licensing (H/F)

Your mission

Within the Business Development department and reporting directly to the Corporate Development and Licensing Director, you are responsible for the implementation of licensing projects.

More in detail, you will:
- Coordinate the evaluation of licensing-in projects together with other departments, external experts and other partners, and create briefs to support the decision-making process
- Be responsible for the negotiation with external partners to execute contractual agreements
- Start and manage the relationship with the partners for a complete licensing-in project evaluation (due diligence)
- Research and identify licensing-in opportunities and contribute to implement the process to define the needs in licensing-in; contribute to implement the assessment and project validation circuits
- Implement and supervise licensing-out processes

Expected profile

- Bachelor's degree of Pharmacy, Science, Medicine, Biology or similar, with a specialisation in management (Master, MBA)
- At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnical industry (pharmaceutical development, marketing or business development, sales, R&D, …) with a good knowledge of the pharmaceutical context and its contributors, including R&D activities
- Great interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- Able to persuade, negotiate, be proactive and a willing to move projects forward
- Organised, able to forecast and work in different projects transversally and simultaneously
- Rigorous, analytical, able to summarise, with an open mindset and results oriented
- Excellent presentation skills, both in English and in French
