Employees
Committed to fostering our employees’ well-being, career development and personal fulfillment, we give everyone a chance to succeed.
Our diversity and inclusion commitments
Diversity and inclusion are core components of our strategy. Inspired by our founder's humanist values, we believe that celebrating our differences makes the world a better place.
One of our priority challenges is getting women into top management jobs.
Committed to promoting gender equality, we are pursuing all our actions aimed at maintaining a 50/50 balance in subsidiary management jobs on our five main markets by 2030, and increasing the number of women directors.
One initiative is the ‘Empow'Her’ program, which aims to foster a fairer, more inclusive and stimulating environment for all women in the Group. It includes the creation of a network of women directors, a springboard for discussion, inspiration, and the sharing of best practice.
We have also launched development programs specifically for women (self-marketing, women leaders) along with mentoring schemes to help them get access to higher-grade jobs within the organization.
We have already obtained concrete results: the proportion of women in our governing bodies has increased by 3 points in two years and now stands at 41%.
On top of that, in 2024, Laboratoires Pierre Fabre signed up to the #StOpE initiative. In doing so, we joined 300 companies that work together to combat sexist behavior in the workplace. We have pledged to train 100% of our employees in ‘Combating everyday sexism in the workplace’ by 2026.
- 65 % women in the company
- 40 % women in governing bodies
- 50 % women managers
Intergenerational cooperation makes us stronger
As part of our young talents policy, in 2024 we launched NewGen, an ambitious international program specially for young people, designed to enrich company strategy through innovative input from the younger generation. That cultural and professional diversity stimulates discussions and gives rise to innovative initiatives.
As well as the opportunity to interact directly with company leaders, program members take part in immersive learning pathways that give them an overview of the company and reinforce their leadership skills and creativity. Proof that it is a fantastic career booster, 50% of NewGen participants moved up the career ladder within 12 months of completing the program.
