Choosing to invest in France

Made in France is a cornerstone of Laboratoires Pierre Fabre’ identity. Our production sites, most of which are located in rural areas, make a big contribution to economic growth in those regions and, more broadly speaking, raise France’s industrial profile on the global scene. The company is also renowned for the medical research it conducts exclusively at its own innovation center based on the Toulouse Oncopole campus.

Our deep-rooted attachment to Occitanie

Mr. Pierre Fabre was determined to boost economic development in his home region - which had suffered cruelly from the decline of the textile industry at the end of the last century – by establishing his company there. That exceptional civic commitment continues to this day through the company’s active support for institutions, associations and local stakeholders across a variety of fields, including welfare, sport and the arts.

Fighting poverty in Occitanie

As a founding member of the endowment fund ‘Le Cœur des Entreprises’, Laboratoires Pierre Fabre helps associations that fight poverty in the greater Toulouse region. For example, the company gives its employees extra days’ off to do charity work on behalf of one of its partner associations. That work includes putting together hygiene kits for beneficiaries of welfare structures, handing out meals, organizing workshops to break down the digital divide, and so on.

Laboratoires Pierre Fabre and high-performance sport go back a long way

Laboratoires Pierre Fabre launched its ‘Spor’Team’, made up of a team of top young athletes from the Tarn and Haute-Garonne. We help them train for national and international competitions by providing financial support and resources, as well as an opportunity to share their aspirations with counterparts from other sporting disciplines.

Actively committed to regional culture

Laboratoires Pierre Fabre has been actively involved in promoting arts and culture in Occitanie for many years, for example by supporting museums in the Tarn and Haute-Garonne. In 2024, we funded an exhibition called ‘Collection Pierre Fabre - Visions plurielles’ (The Pierre Fabre Collection - Plural Visions), showcased at three partner museums: the Goya museum in Castres, the Musée du Pays de Cocagne in Lavaur and the Dom Robert museum in Sorèze. The exhibition was a success on all fronts, drawing in some 34,000 visitors.

In this podcast, we meet the women and men who are championing innovation across our regions, the businesses and associations that are raising the profile of Occitanie, in the fields of health, the environment and sport.

Supporting local stakeholders worldwide

In all the countries where it operates worldwide, Laboratoires Pierre Fabre undertakes long-term partnerships, often motivated by the energy and imagination of the subsidiary’s employees.

Making a long-term impact in Morocco with Bayti

The ‘Happiness for all’ solidarity day was initiated in 2019 in Morocco, with Bayti, an association that helps children and young people in difficulty. It works to keep those children in school and promote social inclusion by donating 100%-recycled laptop computers, as part of the company’s ‘digital responsibility’ approach. Pierre Fabre Morocco employees also have the opportunity to donate any other items they wish (clothes, toys, books, school supplies, and so on).

In the USA, every tree planted marks another step toward creating a healthier planet, with...

Pierre Fabre employees based at the Parsippany office observe their annual Green Mission Day at Lewis-Morris Park in Morristown, New Jersey. Working closely with the people in charge of managing natural resources for the parks in Morris County, they plant trees, plants and varieties of flowers that are native to the region. They also help pull up invasive plants and shrubs in parkland areas.

This group initiative fosters sustainable management of natural resources.

Collecting unused medicines in Italy with Banco Farmaceutico

In Italy, Laboratoires Pierre Fabre takes part in a medicine donation scheme organized by Banco Farmaceutico every year to support welfare organizations across the country that help over 460,000 people in need (including 102,000 under-18s).

In 2025, over 5,900 pharmacies took part in the scheme, collecting over 640,000 medicine boxes worldwide, worth more than 5 million euros, and donated to some 2,031 health care institutions in contact with Banco Farmaceutico.
