ICS 2026 Recap: Inspiring Discussions on the Future of Urology, BPH and Overactive Bladder
From October 6 to 9, 2026, the Pierre Fabre Primary Care teams attended the ICS 2026 (International Continence Society) Congress in Maastricht, the Netherlands. Over the course of these few days, participants engaged in enriching scientific discussions, explored new perspectives, and exchanged insights on the management of patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), overactive bladder (OAB), and, more broadly, urinary tract disorders.
This international event provided an excellent opportunity for Laboratoires Pierre Fabre teams to meet healthcare professionals from around the world, listen to their experiences, and gain a deeper understanding of the evolving needs of patients in a field where improving quality of life remains a key challenge.
A Scientific Symposium Focused on Real-World Clinical Practice
One of the highlights of the congress was the Pierre Fabre scientific symposium, entitled “The LUTS Clinic: Navigating Real-World BPH and OAB Patient Scenarios,” which took place on October 8.
Chaired by Prof. Benoît Peyronnet, and featuring Prof. Véronique Phé and Prof. Cosimo De Nunzio, the session explored practical approaches to managing patients with lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS), particularly in the context of BPH and overactive bladder.
Through clinical cases and real-life practice scenarios, the speakers shared their expertise on treatment strategies and the challenges encountered in the management of these patients.
A Dedicated Space for Urology Discussions
Throughout the congress, visitors were welcomed at the Pierre Fabre urology booth, which served as a hub for discussions with healthcare professionals and partners on improving the management of patients living with urinary incontinence.
Continuing Our Commitment to Urology
Pierre Fabre Primary Care’s participation in ICS 2026 reflects the ongoing commitment of Laboratoires Pierre Fabre to the field of urology. During the EAU 2026 Congress in London, Pierre Fabre highlighted more than 40 years of continuous commitment to this specialty and its determination to support the evolution of urinary disorder management.
These meetings help strengthen our understanding of healthcare professionals’ expectations and patients’ needs, while further reinforcing our commitment to the international urology community.
