On May 7th, Pierre Fabre China signed an agreement to create a “Pierre Fabre” scholarship with the French department of Fudan University, one of the most selective and prestigious universities in China.
The Pierre Fabre scholarship will provide the opportunity for the best and brightest students of the French department to pursue their studies in France. The signing ceremony took place on May 7th on the University’s campus. Francis Canet, General Manager of Pierre Fabre China, delivered a speech encouraging students to make French an important asset for their imminent integration in the professional world.
This partnership illustrates the willingness of Pierre Fabre China to develop innovative programs fostering improved cooperation between the university and business sectors. The goal is to advocate and enrich the education and training of young, French-speaking talent in China with respect to China-France relations.
This gesture of social responsibility has received high praise not only from Fudan University, but also from the French Consulate in Shanghai, which sent its special envoy for higher education to report on the event.
