Launch of the Gustave Roussy Prize

An initiative supported by Pierre Fabre Laboratories in favor of scientific innovation in oncology.
Villejuif, November 18, 2024 – On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Professor Gustave Roussy and approaching the 100th anniversary of the Institute that bears his name, an international prize is being launched to reward scientific innovation in oncology. The Gustave Roussy Prize, endowed with €200,000 per year, aims to honor researchers whose discoveries have a significant impact on the care of cancer patients.
Pierre Fabre Laboratories, as the founding patron, are supporting the creation of this prize. Éric Ducournau, CEO, expressed his pride in supporting this initiative:

The Gustave Roussy Prize is intended to reward internationally renowned researchers whose work significantly advances the treatment, understanding, or prevention of cancers. Applications must be submitted by December 20, 2024, and the award ceremony will take place on February 4, 2025, during World Cancer Day.
