Pierre Fabre among the 500 "champions of the territories"

24 January 2020

In the aftermath of the "Choose France" summit, 500 executives from Intermediate Size Enterprises (ETI) were invited by French President Emmanuel Macron and METI - the Intermediate-Sized Business Movement "500 Champions of the Territories" event.

Among these leaders was Eric Ducournau, Managing Director of the Pierre Fabre Group, an independent pharmaceutical and cosmetic company owned by a foundation recognized as a public utility. A great recognition for this Group, expert in dermatology and cancer treatments created in 1962 in Castres in Occitanie (France) and for its CEO in office since 2018 after having been the CEO of the dermo-cosmetique business unit for 7 Years.

I am pleased to represent the Pierre Fabre group, selected to be part of the French "champions of the territories" invited by President Emmanuel Macron and METI. Being present alongside companies leaders was a great opportunity to remind us of the responsibility and contribution of our companies to the economic and social development of the territories. We innovate and produce mainly in France, it's a conviction, it's a challenge but it's also a great asset in our health and beauty markets.
