Covid-19: Donation of hand creams and Eau Thermale Avène spray to hospitals in Occitania

Pierre Fabre Group and its Eau Thermale Avène brand will be donating hand care creams, body cleansing gels and thermal spring water sprays to hospitals in the Occitania region of France.
Prevention steps such as hand-washing and the use of hand sanitiser are necessary to combat the spread of Covid-19. In the long term, these steps can lead to skin dryness and irritation, especially for medical staff who use hand sanitiser frequently. Similarly, continuously wearing a surgical mask can cause facial irritation.
Partners of numerous hospitals in the Occitania region of France, and specialising in dermo-cosmetic care products that protect the skin, Pierre Fabre Group and its Eau Thermale Avène brand could not remain indifferent faced with the needs of caregivers in terms of protecting and caring for their skin.
As of 1 April, in addition to benefiting from donations of hand sanitisers made by Pierre Fabre, hospitals in the Occitania region will receive the following Eau Thermale Avène products:
- CICALFATE HAND CREAM (for irritation caused by the use of hand sanitiser)
- THERMAL SPRING WATER SPRAY (for irritation caused by wearing a mask)
- TRIXERA CLEANSING GEL (for daily bodily cleansing)
