Pierre Fabre Dermo-Cosmetics brings together 800 european dermatologists under the chairmanship of Prof. Jana Hercogova

May 13, 2015

The very first Pierre Fabre Dermatology Forum was intended as an opportunity to create ties between Pierre Fabre Dermo-Cosmetics and health care professionals. The event also sought to create links between health and beauty, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, and public and private research… based on a common vision of dermatology and dermo-cosmetics.

Over 800 dermatologists from 30 countries gathered in Paris on April 23 and 24 to explore the topic "Connecting Dermatology" based on the Pierre Fabre Dermatology, Eau Thermale Avène, A-Derma and Ducray brands. The forum was chaired by Prof. Jana Hercogova, President of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) from 2012 to 2014 and Chairman of the Dermatology and Venereology Department at Charles University in Prague.

The two-day event was structured around 6 conferences and 8 workshops and provided opportunities to share expertise, experience and skills.

  • Hemangioma
  • Atopic dermatitis
  • Photoprotection
  • Acne
  • Hair and scalp
  • Cosmetic dermatology

  • Pharmaceutical R&D
  • Biometrological R&D – Clinical Expertise
  • Hydrotherapy
  • Fragile Skin
  • @Dermatology

The success of this first event and the steady growth of Pierre Fabre Dermo-Cosmetics in Europe, but also in the Americas and Asia, leave the door open for a second forum in Europe… or farther afield.
